Donations to Youth Mart
To respect the dignity of the young people we serve, we only offer clean, odor-free items that are ready-to-use. Our goal is to set our clients up with all the essentials they need to live healthfully and autonomously in their first apartments. Due to limited space, we are unable to accept specialty or oversized items, however we are grateful for in-kind donations of all kinds of other household necessities, both new and secondhand. Photos of large items can be texted or emailed to us for review and pickup reservation, and we welcome messages to clarify if items are appropriate for donation if you are unsure.

Collaborative Agency Donations
We are proud to partner with Nebraska Diaper Bank and Access Period to provide consistent supplies of diapers and menstrual products to our clients. Donations of these items can be dropped at the Youth Mart and will be passed along to these agencies accordingly.
Items we CANNOT accept:
Used socks or underwear - for the safety of our volunteers and staff, we must dispose of any boxes or bags that are found to contain used socks or underwear.
Toys - due to space limitations we ask to only receive baby essentials, no toys or games
Youth Clothing - we do not see school aged children in our shop, just young adults and their babies / toddlers
Household Decor & Specialty Items - due to limited space we ask to keep donations limited to “essentials”
Join the Truck Brigade
Truck Brigade primarily picks up furniture and household items from around the Omaha metro area and delivers larger items from Youth Mart. Volunteers bring their own trucks, vans, SUVs and mini vans to help how they can. Some volunteers ride along to help move the furniture or items, so a vehicle isn’t necessary to become a volunteer!

Mentoring
A mentoring program and further support that fosters independence.
Our Mission is to provide support through mentoring for Young Adults Former Foster Youth on their journey towards independence. As these young adults “age out” or turn 19, they begin to lose services and support available to them while trying to figure out how to live on their own and support themselves. The role of mentors is to provide additional support along that journey.
