Mentoring is about connection, not correction. It’s about having people in your

corner who see your potential, listen without judgment, and help you move toward your

goals

Who We're Looking For:

We’re looking for young adults, ages 18–25, who are ready to take the next step toward independence and want support along the way. This program is for those who:

✅ Are transitioning out of foster care or other state-supported care or experiencing housing instability.

✅ Want guidance on building life skills, pursuing education, or advancing their career.

✅ Are looking for connection, encouragement, and someone to walk beside them as they navigate adulthood.

✅ Are motivated to grow, learn, and take ownership of their future, even if life has thrown challenges their way.

What You'll get as a Mentee

  • An ally in your journey to independence: An adult who believes in you, helps you set goals, and cheers you on.

  • A peer who gets it: Someone your age who’s been there, offering real advice and support from experience.

  • Skills for life: From managing money to finding housing, schooling, or work, a mentor can help you tackle the next steps with confidence.

  • Connection & Community: Meet others on the same journey, make friends, and build your network.

  • Boosted confidence: Try new things, face challenges, and grow knowing someone’s there with you. Access to resources: Guidance to tap into housing, education, employment, and wellness support in your community.
